Do Elon Musk, Steve Jobs, And Jeff Bezos Really Have All That Money?

Mümin Ahmedoğlu

--

Who is the wealthiest person in the world right now, and how much money does he have?

Of course, Elon Musk is the answer, but his fortune isn’t well-defined; it ranges between $200 billion and $300 billion, and it fluctuates by tens of billions between day and night.

With fortunes in the hundreds of billions, he is followed in wealth by Jeff Bezos, Bernard Arrow, Bill Gates, and others.

Is This Money Real?

Can Musk or Bezos, for example, purchase things worth $10 billion?

What is the amount of (cash) in his account?

Of course, a answer is a number that isn’t stated alongside their wealth statistics.

The value of these people’s companies’ shares, which swing up and down in the blink of an eye, determines their wealth. For instance, just two days ago, Musk lost $50 billion due to a tweet he sent! He asked few people about the possibility of selling a stake in Tesla.

Only one tweet worth — 50 billion dollars.

To put it another way, What is the purchasing power of Musk or Bezos against these barrels of oil? Saudi Arabia’s oil revenue this year is less than 200 billion dollars, so what is the purchasing power of Musk or Bezos against these barrels of oil Saudi Arabia produces?

Although one of them “theoretically” has more money, it pales compared to Saudi Arabia’s actual “monetary” revenue from oil. If Bezos or Musk considers “liquidating” his riches and sells his shares, he will not receive even 1/10 of his wealth statistics, in which the imagined component exceeds the real wealth.

So, What Is True Wealth?

Do you have any cash?

Of course, cash worth much more wealth than the fictitious values of technology stocks; for example, (Pablo Escobar, the most famous drug dealer in history) was richer in stages than all current technology billionaires, even though his wealth “digitally” is not comparable to theirs.

Still, he had (cash) to the point of hiding it in the enormous trenches dug in Colombian territory!
